May 1 is almost here, and that means Beltane (May Day). I’ve been enjoying Fiona Duncan’s course Way of the Witch: Witchcraft 101 for many months. (It was an anniversary gift from my husband.) I’m always interested in magick and its connection to folklore, and Fiona teaches a comprehensive, detailed, and informative course. It’s a lot of fun, but it is also a much more academic course than you usually find on witchcraft online. I mean that in a good way.
So much of magick and folklore and fairy tales intersect, that whether you are a scholar or a witch in training, you’ll learn a lot at The Magickal Path.
I asked her if we could access her lesson on Beltane, and she very kindly said yes. So here is an excellent primer on the celebrations and rites of the first of May. Enjoy! And a huge thank you to Fiona! Here’s the link again: https://themagickalpath.com/beltane-free-lesson
Beltane/May Day always seems like the real beginning of summer to me. Celebrate with this wonderful offering by the very generous Fiona.
