When we fell apart
Snow took us in -
She muffled our sorrow,
Forged our tears into
Jewels and
Knives.
The taste of snowflakes and
The smell of cold winds -
These we devoured together, like
Candy, like love.
What is ice but a
Mirror
Dark enough to
Hide sorrow,
Sadness,
Memories?
We want none of them.
We want:
Avalanches,
Blizzards, storms,
Shards strong enough to
Rip through who we
Should, would, were.
